Parent and Toddlers Sessions

At Blaenymaes Primary School

1.15-3.00pm

Every Tuesday afternoon starting 28th April

(Access through main school entrance)

Suitable for parents/carers and children under 2 years.

  • Come along meet new friends
  • Find out more about Flying Start and meet the Blaenymaes team.
  • An opportunity for support and advice from a wide range of professionals including Health Visitors, Family Facilitator, Speech and Language Therapist and Early Language Development Team
  • Give your child an opportunity to play
  • Free tea, coffee and healthy snack time

Easter Holidays @ Butterflies

Our last day of childcare is on Thursday the 17th April. All children are invited to attend the morning session for an easter party!! We will be going on an egg hunt and having lots of fun and games! There will be no afternoon session and we return on Monday 28th April, have a lovely Easter break!!

Xmas term @ Butterflies

Parents evenings!!

Yellow and blue morning children from 3pm on Tuesday 3rd Dec

Yellow and Blue afternoons and all of red group from 3pm on Wed 4th Dec

PLEASE CHECK THE BOARDS OUTSIDE THE SETTING FOR EXACT TIMES FOR YOUR CHILD

 

School Readiness

For children m,oving up to nursery after christmas

Session 1 – Tuesday 26th Nov

session 2 – Tuesday 3rd Dec

Butterflies Christmas Trip Cantref Farm 13th Dec

Closing date for money to be in for our trip is FRIDAY 29TH NOV,

There will be no sessions for those not coming on the trip with us.

 

Christmas Concert Thursday 19th December

Morning Children to attend at 9am, concert to start at 9.30am

Afternoon Children to attend at 1pm, concert to start at 1.30pm

Parents may take children home after the performance, please see the slip attached to the letters sent home for your child’s part and costumes needed.

Programmes will be on sale for £1 on the day with all proceeds going to Diabetes UK in memory of our friend and colleague, Jo Smith.

Christmas party Friday 20th December

This will take place from 9-11am. Morning and afternoon children are invited to attend, there will be no afternoon sessions on this day.
