Welcome Back!
Welcome back to all our parents and children, and a warm welcome to all of our new little butterflies! We are sure you will have a wonderful time with us, if any parents have any worries or concerns please ask to speak to Emma or Nat.
Our Family Facilitator
Jess is our family facilitator for Blaenymaes and is available to any parents or families in need of support or advice. Give her a ring for a chat on 07584140848. Jess also runs a parenting group every Wednesday morning at the setting, see staff or give Jess a ring if you are interested.
Parent and Toddler
Our parent and toddler group runs every Tuesday from 1.15-3pm, it is
suitable for all parents/carers with children under 2 years of age. Come along and make some new friends, learn more about Flying Start and meet the Butterflies team.
This term we are starting a baby chatter program within parent and toddler time aimed at boosting early language skills.
Speech and Language
Our Flying Start Speech and Language Therapist Melissa and our Deputy
Manager Nat continue to provide support to referred children every week.
Parents involved will be invited to attend and observe the sessions dates to be arranged.
Language and Play
Nat will be running a Language and Play group for afternoon parents on a
Wednesday afternoon starting on the 17th Sept. Places are limited so please let staff know if you are interested in attending. See attached
leaflet for more information.
LIFT Programme
Juliet and Natalie will continue to visit the setting every Thursday morning from 9.30am/11.00am to meet with parents who are interested in further training/employment. Call in for a chat to find out more.
Notice Board
Keep a close eye on our outside notice board for regular updates. We would also be really grateful if parents could collect any items from our recycling list.
